Benton Franklin County Fair
I was in need of some nice HOT weather last week so we made a trip over to the better part of the state...the tri-cities. And we were in luck because it also happened to be our county fair! I was pumped to take Spencer. I used to go to the fair every summer and pay way too much money for a wrist band to ride all of the rides that were run by drug dealing carnies and get really sick. Don't worry, I ddin't expose my children and husband to that part of the fair. We went and saw all of the animals, had some good fair food (I had an elephant ear, my favorite) and went to the rodeo. Ryan actually loved the rodeo, he stood up the whole time on the bleachers and kept his eyes on the cowboys. Whenever a cowboy got bucked off, Ryan would look at me and say, "Cowboy fall down!" in a really concerned voice. He told a lot of people about the cowboy that fell down after that.
*You'll notice in one picture that Ryan's diaper is totally ripped. I have no idea what happened!
Happy 4th Anniversary!
Today is our 4th Anniversary. It actually feels like we've been married longer! I don't know what that means :) But I am glad to be married to such a wonderful person. Before we got married, I knew that it was the right choice and that I loved Spencer, but I had no idea what to expect of married life. It's nice to say that it is even better than I expected! I seriously cannot imagine my life any different than the way it is right now. Here are some stats for us in the 4 years we have been married: we've moved 8 times, lived in 3 states & 4 city's, had 2 kids, owned 3 cars, attended 2 university's, and traveled to 13 states!

Andrew
Andrew's New Skills:
Andrew has begun eating solid foods! Delicious rice cereal...mmmm...He actually really enjoys it and has gotten pretty grabby. He watches intently as we eat anything now. He is also learning to sit on his own. He can last a couple minutes on his own (with pillows or the boppy around him just in case). When he does fall, it is usually a face plant, he leans to far forward to reach for something.
Family Reunion
We decided we needed to catch the blog wave so here we go. We are currently living in Seattle, WA. Spencer is working on his Masters in Mechanical Engineering at UW. Erin is staying at home with our two boys, Ryan (2) and Andrew (5 1/2 months). She also works as a "community assistant" for familly housing at UW. Basically, an R.A. for married people. She coordinates activities and works in the office for 6 hours a week. We hope to be all done with school in June and go off and get a real job!
