we love cousins
We miss our cousins in Seattle already. Ryan, Easton, Andrew, and Luke got to play together a ton over the past year and it is so cute to see them become little friends. We will miss them so much! At least now we get to live a little closer to our Colorado cousins. It was so fun to get to see all the Grange grandkids together for the first time. What a bunch of cuties!
p.s. can you see my poor kids skin drying out??? They were so red and their once baby soft skin became rough and chapped. They seem to finally have adjusted to the dryer climate.
p.p.s. When did Andrew get so HUGE? He looks like giant baby in between his little cousins.

our new pad
The swingset left by former owners. Ryan now insists on wearing his sunglasses. Both kids have had a hard adjustment to the bright sunshine. It's like they have never seen the sun before.
No albuquerque home is complete without a dry rock bed.
Andrew has already tried to escape.
Here are some pictures of what we are enjoying the most about our new place....the backyard!

Are we there yet??
We are done with our long journey to New Mexico. It actually went great, but I think Spencer and I are very glad that it is OVER. I didn't take many pictures along the way, which is too bad because we were able to stop and visit lots of good friends and family along the way which made the trip much more bareable. I did take some pictures of the kids as we were taking the ferry from Bremerton over to Seattle to pick up Spencer from school. About 15 minutes into the ferry ride, Ryan announced that he "didn't want to take the trip to Albuquerque". Not a good sign. I got a picture of him in his grumpiness. But after that the boys were actually really good. We never drove more than 7 hours in a day and had a DVD player which was great (although they never needed to watch more than one movie each day). The weather in Seattle as we left was raining and about 55 degrees. Typical. It got warmer and warmer as we drove east and we are enjoying a beautiful 90 degree day here in Albuquerque!
