Andrew is 5!

Happy Birthday to our big 5 year old Andrew.  We love our big, goofy boy.  We celebrated by going to Chuck E Cheese (yuck) and having cake and ice cream.  He was so excited to open his presents, that we opened them at 8:00 in the morning.  He loves Power Rangers, Cars 2, and Super Mario Bros.  We'll all be sad to send him off to Kindergarten in the fall.

Mabel is 3!

We had a wonderful and low key day for our Mabel.  My sister Allie is in town which is about all the fun we need!  We went to the Disney Store where she got to pick out a present from her fun aunt, Chick-fil-A for lunch, and ice cream and cake after dinner.
She is loving the Disney Princesses.
She's pretty much the cutest 3 year old I've ever seen!

Mabel is so much fun to have as a part of our family.  She is a great combination of sweet and sassy!

At 3:

*Loves to dance, especially with me at Zumba.  She can shake it better then me (she is definitely Lindsey's girl in more ways then one!)  She stands right by me and dances and sometimes even goes up front and leads.

*Has become obsessed with drawing.  She is constantly "drawing" in her notebooks.

*Loves clothes.  And dressing up.  I love buying her clothes because she gives me the greatest reactions. "Ohh!  That is so cute!  Where did you get it?"  (a far cry from her brothers groans)  Surprisingly enough though, she hates it when I do her hair.

*Has become Andrew's best friend.  I love it.  It will be a sad day when Andrew is at  Kindergarten.

Mabel is really a sweet girl.  As much as I like to tell her sassy stories and the shocking things that come out of her 3 year old mouth, she is mostly sweet and helpful.  She is great with Lucy and tries to make her happy.  She always comes up and gives us hugs and kisses and tells us how much she loves us.

BUT, really sassy stories are more fun to tell so her is one more from her third year:

On Christmas Sunday we were sitting waiting for church to begin when I noticed this cute little girl sitting in front of us had the same sweater on as Mabel.  I pointed this out to Mabel.  She glared at me, then the little girl, and then ripped her sweater off and threw it on the ground.  Can't wait until she's 13!
