it's the end of the world as we know it...
Spencer and I have only known each other as students. We met in the dorms, I graduated right before we got married, and Spencer has been in school for what has seemed like forever!!! As much as we have complained and griped about our hardships as poor college students, we actually will really miss college life.
*Never again will Spencer's schedule be so flexible. He has always been able to come home whenever I needed him.
*good-bye summer vacation and 2 weeks off at Christmas!
*We have made such good friends at BYU and UW. We look forward to being able to keep friends we will make for longer than a year.
*It's fun living in a college town...lots to do and a beautiful campus close by.
*It's nice living in a neighborhood where everyone is in the same situation as you...poor. There isn't much "keeping up with the Jones" and the only things you envy are the sweet deals your friend found on craigslist or their awesome find by the dumpster.
*As much as we are excited about having a house with our own walls...there is a part of apartment living we'll miss. It's nice having friends so close and being able to walk out your door and always have kids for your kids to play with and other moms to talk to.
Now that Spencer is graduating...does this mean we have to be grown-ups??!!

I am pretty sure that you will be fine as grown ups. Congrats to you and Spencer, moving on to the new phase of life, and here Ryan and I are going back to the school life for the first time in our married life. Strange. We can't wait to see you guys!
This is Dixie on Teri's comp, Isabel is ohhing and gooing in her swing.
It is comforting to know that Spencer is still the smartest man alive.
You both have not changed a bit from the BYU graduation, tee hee.
Congratulations to you both.
Congrats to Spencer and Erin! We are so excited (and jealous) for you! Yeah! One thing for sure you'll miss about apartment living is the feeling that you're never alone b/c you can always hear people around you. You can still find great deals next to the dumpster even when you are "grown up." We just got our 2nd t.v. and another couch for our basement. Yes. There are good deals around every corner.
Welcome to being a grown up! It really isn't too bad...and we still always find sweet deals on craigs list! Congratulations on graduating...we are so excited for you guys!
Hi Erin! I saw a link to your site from Mandy's and it was so fun to see how your cute family is doing. Congrats on being done with school!
Felicitations!
Congrats! I remember us saying, "When Spencer graduates with his Masters, we will..."--and now that time has already come! Time goes by so fast! So are you guys moved out? I called your number, but nothing. Have you joined the cell phone world yet? Call us ASAP so we can figure out when we get to see you :)!
I have a feeling that being a 'grown-up' is never going to feel quite right. But, oh how many fun things you have next! A house?! Two cars?! Color on the walls? NEW furniture?! Do those things really exist?....I'm not so sure, but PUH-LEASE let me know if they are. Congrats to Spencer!
Congratulations you guys! By the way, we had some sort of detective guy poking around here the other day, asking questions about Spencer. Whew, good thing I only had the very best to say!
Hi Erin and Spencer! You won't believe it! It seems like we have similar taste to you guys! First off, TJ and Spencer worked together in the Creamery at BYU. Then several months later, we moved into your same apartment complex (Union Square) in Provo, and now we are now living in Blakely Village apartments!!! We just moved in and opened up our "Village Reporter" and read a couple of fun paragraphs about your family's impact on on Blakely and Laurel Village. How crazy is this!! It is too bad we just missed you guys (it said you were moving - are you gone yet??) We knew we had run across your blog - so we found it again - and had to let you know! Congrats Spencer on graduating. Good luck! If you want to check out our blog too - just e-mail one of us (Mandi or TJ) at tylerjh@u.washington.edu.
We miss you guys!! Now that you and the Beesleys are gone, it feels so empty here. I can't even fathom life after school...let us know how it goes. :)
