Fascinating Read

I'm famous. My thesis finally showed up in the UW library catalog. There's two copies for everyone's reading enjoyment.

Also, my advisor presented some of our work at POF 2008 (The 17th International Conference on Polymer Optical Fiber). I ran across the program in my periodic googling of my name today.

Congrats! I am impressed as well as disappointed that upon finding no digital version available--fiber optics fascinate me. Your statement about "reading enjoyment" may or may not have been a joke, but I bet I'd enjoy it. Was your thesis referenced in the conference by a professor or did you actually attend and speak?

By the way, I just googled you. You have waaayyyyy too many googlegangers. How do you keep up with them all? If I had that many googlegangers, I'd have a party with them all.

I heard the parties at POF '08 were way better than at POF '07 in Tulsa.

Nice job brother.

You are still famous in the Polymer Lab. We decorated your picture with festive little christmas lights. We were wearing your laser glasses around just last week. James recently discovered your supper-sized headphones (although he doesnt wear them like you did). What a legacy. :)

You're not too far Josh, there's a copy on the third floor of the engineering library. And a good view to enjoy as you read.

I am unaware of the circumstances surrounding the presentation of my work. I just saw my name in the program.

And what is a googleganger?
