gifts for baby sister

We've been busy at our house getting ready for this baby.  We have washed new pink blankets, hung up cute little dresses, and packed the hospital bag.  Ryan picked out a new girl toy to bring to his baby sister in the hospital.  Andrew thought a good gift for his new little sister would be to pick up conjunctivitis (that's right, pink eye).  He has been as happy as ever, but his eyes were bright red and they are goopy and gross.  Hopefully the medicine will kick in and do it's magic before he has a chance to spread it to the baby!

These pictures don't really show how his eyes really look, he looks to cute to have pink eye.  But you can kind of see all the eye goobers on his eyelashes.

I guess pink eye is better than what Ryan had just weeks before Andrew was born.  Ryan caught hand, foot, and mouth disease.  Much worse.

After hearing all the gorey details (green bugers in his eye...and more) from Ryan tonight, I guess he got the crud from Andrew. You are right though, it is hard to feel bad for someone as cute and happy as Andrew.

It's impossible to keep kids healthy during the winter!!! Especially in nursery!
