Disneyland-Day 1

We pulled the kids out of school and went to Disneyland on our first real family trip.  Us Toolson's are a little Disney crazy so I was super pumped and Spencer was being a good sport and supporting me in my fun.  I was a little afraid that my dreams would be crushed and that it would be a disaster seeing as we have 4 kids under 7...but Disneyland did not disappoint.  It was so great.
Waiting to get in.  I am so glad we went when we did, not crowded at all.  We were walking onto rides  a lot of times.
Lucy was a champ.  She loved the rides and just hung out when she couldn't go.  Lucy kept looking at us when we were on the rides and said "Fun ride", but she would say it with a straight face.
We had Magic Morning entrance the first day and we were able to hit up all the rides in Fantasyland in that one hour.
Mabel wore special "Disneyland shoes" that had about an inch platform heel.  That made her exactly 40 inches and able to ride almost all the big rides.  Which she did and she loved.  I would try to put my arm around her and she would tell her me not to hold onto her.  She even put her arms up and would scream like the teenagers she saw.
Jedi Training was so fun.  The boys both got to battle Darth Vador at the end.

Lucy liked the characters...from a distance.
She knows all the characters names.  Seeing as she is the youngest of 4 and watches way more TV then she should, she has seen all the Disney movies (Ryan's precious eyes had hardly even laid eyes on any TV at her age)
We met up with our great college friends the Cottrells and had a blast.
The parade was a favorite, they wanted to watch it again.
Thanks again Greg for riding the tea cups with the kids twice in a row.  Barf.
Right after this we lost Andrew for a few minutes.  I found him down by the Matterhorn crying, but with 3 Disney workers already.  He was chasing his light stick necklace and went the wrong way after a ride.  NOT a fun couple minutes...is that just a Disneyland right of passage to lose a kid???
